New Video:  Two African American friends of mine said they wanted to come over to my apartment in the East Village and video tape me in 1984. I decided to create my own religion for the occasion—the Sacred Tenets of theReligion of the UFO Eye Knight. I was an English Teacher and Building Security Coordinator of a public high school in the South Bronx at the time and I got Galaxy, a graffiti artist I knew, to design the ID card and a rapper (I think with the Culture MCs) to write an official rap song for the religion. They knew nothing about the religion except its name.
