Welcome to Steamcast #1 of Mutant Mind Meld —Socratic dialogues with Jonathan Zap.   The mind meld aspect is not just between Zap and the guest, but is intended to include you,  the listener, as wee seek to tap into the source code of The Babylon Matrix to catalyze individual and collective metamorphosis.
Recorded at Palenque Norte/ Burning Man on August 31, 2013
Dr. Bruce Damer is an engineer and computer scientist who has designed 25 projects for NASA and is currently the chief designer of their asteroid mission. He is the President and CEO of DigitalSpace Corporation. One of Terence McKenna’s closest friends and colleagues, they were about to go on a speaking tour together when Terence was diagnosed with his terminal brain tumor.

When we look into the eyes of the other we are looking through a glass darkly into another civilization, perhaps another planet, where there are dark continents that may even be unknown to the other. We are also such a planet of known and unknown parts. My friend Android Jones captures this so brilliantly in his painting, Love is a Riot, which I am standing in front of during a security shift at the Fractal Planet art dome, Burning Man 2013.

  1. It is not a coincidence that I was brought to your work…since childhood (I was born in 53) I have experienced many things that had no so called rational explanation, but as a child I already knew that what I was being told, taught, etc. about the nature of reality was not all it seemed. Into adulthood it continues. It has and continues to be a create puzzle, pieces here, pieces there, ultimately always leaving me with more questions and looking for more pieces of whatever this is. Now, I have read your book, bought it on audio download and PDF, and I have also listened to your tapes. It is very refreshing to me to come across someone who can articulate so clearly what has been a big mess of information in my head and experiences for years…not calling you a guru, but I am so glad you are a great researcher and critical thinker. I am spiritual being, but I question all…I question everyone, everything. I am not a person of faith. I am an experiencer and a seeker…I appreciate that you have taken the time to share what you have been noticing and experiencing with the world, and with such direct simplicity, and as i said before, with an amazing articulated clarity in your communication style.
